- I disengage from the exchange, thinking I have nothing to contribute
- I withdraw from the exchange, oppose, or break communication
— What I say, the words I use, and my usual approach to handling topics
— What I don’t think to say, what I dislike discussing, or what repels me
— The quality and intensity of my listening
— The impact my communication style has on my conversation partners
Methodology
Before the training
- Complete a PULSIONS questionnaire or have a recent result available.
During the training
- Decrypt my PULSIONS profile by discussing real-life situations.
- Gain access to a concrete framework to optimize my communication style.
- Exchange and communicate on topics to:
- Highlight how I handle them.
- Identify what facilitates effective communication and know what to do when it is not working well.

1. Enhance the effectiveness of my communication with others to promote mutual understanding by knowing how to identify:
— Their displayed dynamics in the exchange when they:

- Want to explain, to be understood
- Engage to progress together on a subject
- Do not participate in the exchange, thinking they have nothing to contribute
- Withdraw from the exchange, oppose, or break communication
— Their ways of approaching and handling subjects, being attentive to:

- Aspects of the subject they consider and those they forget to address
- What makes them uncomfortable
— Their levels of listening and knowing how to remain attentive to mine
2. With knowledge of my PULSIONS profile (Level 1 training) and having identified the dynamics and communication style of my interlocutors, be effective in:
— Engaging and demonstrating a desire to communicate with a spirit of mutual understanding
— Identifying what people need to be able to communicate and demonstrating that they are heard
